Welcome! I'm Ben, an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) based in Gloucester and Cheltenham, specialising in automatic and adapted driving lessons tailored to suit your individual needs. Whether you're a beginner, returning to driving, or require a more accessible approach, I offer patient, personalised instruction to help you build confidence and become a safe, capable driver. Able Automatic Driving School is here to support you on every step of you're driving journey.Every Pupil receives free access to Theory Test Pro, which i believe is the best way to pass you're theory test first time.I take a Client centered approach and treat everyone as an individual. From experience i know we all learn differently and i can adapt my teaching style to suit you.Price

Hi, I’m Ben – an Approved Driving Instructor with a lifelong passion for driving. I passed my own driving test first time and knew early on that I wanted to share that sense of freedom and independence with others. I became a fully qualified instructor at the age of 22, originally training with the AA in a manual car before going on to establish my own driving school, Pass with Ben.My journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Due to health issues that affected the use of my legs, I had to pause my career and take time out to recover. During that time, I re-learned to drive using adapted hand controls – an experience that not only shaped me personally but also deepened my understanding and empathy as an instructor.After the COVID-19 pandemic, I returned to teaching and have been proudly providing lessons in Gloucester and Cheltenham ever since. I now specialise in both standard automatic lessons and adapted driving for learners with a wide range of disabilities. With experience in various vehicle adaptations, I’m uniquely equipped to help you learn in a way that works best for you – whether you're looking to drive a standard automatic car or need support with specialist controls.
